Attorney Dan Silverman *Of Counsel
Attorney J. Daniel Silverman is a graduate of Brookline High School, Boston College, and Capitol University Law School (Columbus, Ohio). He has been practicing law as a sole practitioner for the past 21 years. Attorney Silverman has a broad range of experience and is licensed to practice in all courts of the Commonwealth, both state and federal. He has represented clients from all walks of life in hundreds of situations in matters from drunk driving to bankruptcy.
Mr. Silverman has been involved in a large number of personal injury cases, including the Station Fire in Rhode Island. He has represented clients in age discrimination cases against banks, colleges, and other employers; civil litigation matters involving home inspections; landlord/tenant disputes; contract disputes; divorce, child custody, and alimony matters; and collection of past due debts. He is also knowledgeable about antiques and has represented various collectors and auctioneers in a variety of situations. The Firm has also pursued malpractice claims against doctors and other attorneys. The Firm also drafts simple wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care proxies. The Firm has also written over 40 appeals to the State Appeals Court. Five of those cases have been published in Mass. Decisions.
Over the course of his career, Attorney Silverman has attended many seminars and keeps up to date on new legal trends as well as changes in the law. He has tried over 100 cases in the Superior Court and District Courts, both jury and jury-waived trials. He also continues to get the best results for his clients, whether by trial, mediation, arbitration, or agreement of the parties.
